CIA Theobaldina Francis is the board member who achieved the esteemed certified internal auditor (CIA) certification attained from the Institute of Internal Audit Tanzania. Her milestone reflects her hard work, expertise, and dedication to organization’s excellency and impactful contribution in multi-sector senior-level external and internal audit in Tanzania.

With her skills and professional in financial audits, information system and security audits, she became one of the board member with influence on leading, advising and sharing her experience and ideas on risk management, business continuity management, strategic planning, financial analysis, accounting, and research.

Nevertheless, CIA Theobaldina’s experience across banking and financial institutions, manufacturing industry, insurance corporation, oil & gas trading, government corporations and Non-Government Organization sectors in Tanzania have all major effects on guiding, coordinating, and resolving financial disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Subsequent to her appointment as the board member of the Center for Maritime Safety and Security in Tanzania she has promptly results oriented with a demonstrated history of high-quality output delivery in fast-paced environments, team leadership, communication skills, and excellency in analytic to coordinating and building capacity of volunteers and interns working under departments of programs and research as well as finance and operations.

Through her constructive guidance on addressing, consulting, and ascendancy, she impact the Center for Maritime Safety and Security in Tanzania to foreseeing the possibility of organization’s departments, and committees to applying international financial reporting standards (IFRS) to formulating clean audit reports in a way that all national and international partners, stakeholders, board members and seniors officers should never doubt or question about budget execution and organization capacity.

During the previous half-decade, with the exception of achieved the esteemed certified internal auditor (CIA) from Institute of Internal Audit in Tanzania, she  received some numerous licenses and certification consist of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from National Board of Accountants and Auditors, and online course certificate of Advanced Risk Lead Manager from Balanced Scorecard Institute.
